NYAFEC has brought to our attention a series of Pesticide Management Education Program changes proposed by the Environmental Protection Agency. These include changes in the certification program in the areas of minimum age and credit requirements, definitions for "user" and "fumigant," supervisory relationships, and record-keeping arrangements.
The Certification News page on the CCE Pesticide Safety Education Program website provides valuable links to the full text and their summary of the changes and comparison to current standards, as well as information and tips on where, when and how to send commentary.
